The Above the Rim exhibition explores basketball through the lens of art and celebrates the energy, poetry, community, and excitement of the game. The exhibit brings together sixteen internationally renowned artists using various media. Hanbury was able to combine the firm’s knowledge of museum and gallery design with our individual designer’s passion for fine arts into a design that gives structure to the exhibit

Done in collaboration with the artist, FELIPE PANTONE, and CAM (Contemporary Art Museum) Raleigh, I worked to coordinate resources viable to the exhibition coming to life. The project included lighting design and collaboration with contractors to obtain materials for the half-court project.
